(“GridSource”) has acquired B. Robinson, Inc. (“BRI”), a Texas-based fiber optic construction provider.

BRI is a premier infrastructure contractor focusing on communication sector services. The Company provides a comprehensive range of services, including project management, design solutions, underground, aerial, and micro trenching construction, make-ready, splicing and testing, emergency rapid response, and maintenance. BRI has completed thousands of miles of plant, including fiber backhaul, telephone, electric, and CATV projects.

The newly combined company will have over 1,000 employees across 39 locations with core operations in the Southeastern part of the United States and strategic operations in the Northwest and Southwest. GridSource’s addition of micro trenching to its suite of solutions enhances its offerings for a broad customer base, including Fiber Providers, ISPs, MSOs, Hyperscalers, and Electric Co-Ops. This expansion covers nearly every phase of the fiber deployment lifecycle, from initial build and installation to fulfillment, upgrades, maintenance, and repair.
